The Goddess and What It Means to Feel

What does it mean to feel?

It means to truly let everything in. To let yourself be overcome with raw emotion. To feel the rise of the heat from the base of your stomach all the way to the top of your head.

It means to feel the depth of pain, of heartbreak and to let the tears pour and drip down your face.

It means to feel the agony, the suffering, the misery of others, of the world.

It means to let it all in and to let it completely consume you until there is no way out but through.

That is what it means to feel.

The most powerful souls feel deeply. They feel it all unfiltered. The depth of their pain is the height of their ecstasy and joy for they know that they cannot hope to experience one without the other.

Everything has feeling for deep souls. Emptiness, void, nothingness still elicit a deep emotional response and experience for these souls.

Some might say they feel too much. Some might say that they are too emotional or overly sensitive. To feel everything soo deeply is beautiful. Its part of what it means to be alive.

In a world where so many people are desensitized and surface level, I would rather feel it all. I would rather have countless moments where I shed tears, be it out of joy, sadness, grief or overwhelm than feel nothing at all.

Even my nothingness has feeling.

Everything has feeling in my world. Everything has color, richness and depth.

To be a deep soul is to live. To be a deep soul is to feel.

I am a deep soul and I wouldn’t want to live any other way.

I might be too emotional for some, and too sensitive for others. I might feel too much as I am constantly open to the universe and the world. What the world feels and experiences, I feel and experience. If the world is in pain, I am in pain.

Feelings and raw emotions inevitably flow into the goddess.

To be goddess means to shoulder pain with those whom you guide, care for and seek to inspire. It means to be right there beside them, holding their hand as they navigate their storms and challenges. It means complete and utter presence: if the people around you are suffering, you are suffering right there with them. If the people around you are happy, you are happy right there with them. The goddess never leaves people to navigate or carry burdens alone. This is what it means to be goddess. It means to bear alongside. It means to experience with.

I am not off in some distant temple where I am hard to reach or inaccessible, though my physical absence might sometimes be required. I am always walking alongside you in spirit. As you enter my world, you will never be alone. You will always have a friend and confidant. You will always be safe. You will always be seen. You will always be heard. For this is the promise of the goddess.

She does not let her people walk in despair. She does not let anyone cry alone. If you cry, she cries. If you laugh, she laughs. The goddess comforts souls and walks right alongside them, providing love and guidance everywhere she goes.

This is what it means to be goddess.

She is the unconditional mother, constantly loving.

She is the unconditional healer, providing medicine.

She is the unconditional witch, offering a compassionate ear

She is the magician, wielding the elements and alchemizing it all.

She is the sage, endowed with lifetimes of experiences.

She is the shapeshifter, taking on the form she needs to convey her insight.

She offers herself to her people because it is her duty to be of service. To serve is her life purpose and she does so with an open heart and powerful soul.

To be goddess means to embrace, destroy and create. It means to embody the all.

To be goddess means to be all encompassing and to be nothing at all. It means to ebb and flow, forever dancing with the shadows and the void.

To be goddess means simply to be.

And so it is...
